Ari is doing well recovering from her pneumonia. She is getting to know grandma (Stephanie) Steadman over FaceTime. Ari was so excited to see grandma the last time we FaceTimed she wouldn't stop smiling and kicking.
Stephanie is the most wonderful grandmother. She has Ella for a week and Ella is super ecstatic to be with her. (Anyone who volunteers for no sleep for a week is amazing in my book) One of my favorite things that I miss is watching Stephanie and Ella together. They just laugh, and laugh, and laugh. It's a special relationship those two have.
Unfortunately, we won't be together for Father's Day. Matthew, however, will be able to sleep in and enjoy some much needed time to himself. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Steadman for taking Ella.
