It's June

It's June and it has rained here more in the last week than all spring.  It's wet but still warm.

Ella got to spend some time with Baba (Nina's mom).  She's back home with daddy but is having a bit of a hard time re-adjusting.  Hoping she settles down quickly.

Ariana moved today.  They moved her out of the Neonatal ICU to the Medical and Surgical ICU.  She is nine months old and hasn't qualified as a newborn for awhile now.  We will miss her nurses in the NICU.  They are all very good at what they do.   They've all bonded with Ari and gave her extra special attention which we will miss.  The MSICU rooms are much bigger and they have parent sleep spaces which means I can finally stay the night with her.

Ari is doing OK.  She could be better.  She has pneumonia and is not ventilating efficiently so they put her back on BIPAP.  Hopefully, she won't need it for too long.  She has been sleeping lots and is working on recovering.   She'll be feeling better soon and we'll have pictures to post then.

Thanks for the update Nina. I'm glad you'll be able to stay the night w/ her now. I'm sure she'll win over the new nurses in no time! Love and miss you like crazy. Sending lots of love and prayers your way sista. xoxox.

Thanks for the update Nina. I second everything Amber wrote. We're sending happy, good thoughts your way, and praying that Ari's breathing gets stronger with every breath. Big hug to you!
